2013 Bow Mistress Trophy – Hobart Nominations

Nominations have been released for the Group 3 Bow Mistress Trophy, which is due to run at Hobart racecourse this Sunday February 3, 2013.

A total of 16 horses have nominated for the $150,000 race, including Rebel Bride.

Rebel bride has won her last two race starts this preparation, with her most recent being in the Listed Tattsbet.com Stakes on January 23, 2013.

The five-year-old has won nine of her 19 career starts in total and has earned more than $250,000 in prize money thus far.

Rebel Bride will look to recreate her recent success in Tasmania when she lines up for what will be the first group test of her career in the 2013 Bow Mistress Trophy.

Also included in the 2013 Bow Mistress Trophy nominations is Tariana.

The Anabaa mare has also claimed victories in her past two race starts and will be making her first ever appearance in Hobart in the 2013 Bow Mistress Trophy.

Tariana won her last start at Caulfield Racecourse over 1,200 metres in the $80,000 John Moule Handicap on January 5, 2013.

The five-year-old won the race by 3.5 lengths and will be out to replicate her performance in the 2013 Bow Mistress Trophy this weekend.

Tariana has won six of her 17 race starts and has earned more than $245,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.
