Sea Siren is said to be in top order ahead of her run in the Group 1 Hong Kong Sprint on Sunday December 9, 2012.
The four-year-old is set to have her first international test in the $1.9 million race, which will be run over 1,200 metres.
Sea Siren will go into the race on the back of a second placing in the Group 1 Patinack Farm Classic at Flemington Racecourse on November 10 behind Mental.
Prior to that, the Fastnet Rock mare won the Group 1 Manikato Stakesin her first-up spring start.
Trainer John O’Shea is set to fly to Hong Kong on Monday to oversee her international debut and is confident she will be at her best for the race.
“She went in good order, not tired from too much racing and she has arrived there and not missed a beat,” O’Shea said.
“I can’t wait to get there and watch it all unfold – it really is quite exciting.”
Sea Siren has won six of her 10 race starts and has earned more than $1.5 million in prize money.
The talented sprinter already has three Group 1 wins to her name, including the Group 1 BTC Cup and the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 from the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival.
