2012 Travel Associates Classic – Final Field & Barrier Draw
The final field and barrier draw has been released for the 2012 Travel Associates Classic this Saturday.
Just nine fillies and mares will line up for the $80,000 race, including Fire Up Fifi.
The five-year-old has won eight of her 20 race starts and has earned more than $190,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.
Fire Up Fifi did not finish outside the placings once in her seven race starts last preparation, winning on five occasions.
The Bradbury’s Luck mare will be first-up in the 2012 Travel Associates Classic, where she will attempt to continue her impressive race record.
Her most recent race result was a win in the $50,000 Mount Franklin Handicap at Doomben Racecourse on August 18, 2012.
Fire Up Fifi has drawn barrier one for the 2012 Travel Associates Classic and will be ridden by jockey Ryan Wiggins in the race.
Dream’N’Ignite is also included in the 2012 Travel Associates Classic final field and barrier draw.
The five-year-old has won all three of her race starts this preparation, with the latest being in the $45,000 Hillross Montefiore & Co Handicap on November 3.
The Monashee Mountainmare has won four of her 13 race starts and has earned close to $70,000 in her career.
Gai's Choice is one of nine horses to accept for the 2012 Travel Associates Classic final field.
The 2012 Travel Associates Classic will be the first time Dream’N’Ignite has come up against Listed company and she will be looking to claim her first Black Type success.
Dream’N’Ignite will jump from gate six in the race and will be ridden by jockey Michael Cahill.
Gai’s Choice and Cuddlesome are also amongst the 2012 Travel Associates Classic final field and barrier draw acceptors.
