Battle Emblem Tops 2012 RJ Peters Stakes Final Field & Barrier Draw

Battle Emblem is amongst 10 horses that have accepted for the Group 3 RJ Peters Stakes final field, with the race due to run at Ascot Racecourse this Saturday November 17, 2012.

The nine-year-old will be looking to turn his form around after placing 10th of 11 runners in the Group 3 Asian Beau Stakes last start.

Battle Emblem has won 10 of his 59 race starts and has earned more than $555,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The Second Empire gelding posted his most recent win in the Listed Grandstand Cup in April this year.

Battle Emblem has drawn barrier one for the 2012 RJ Peters Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Peter Hall.

Iseethingsyoudon’t is also included in the 2012 RJ Peters Stakes final field and barrier draw, with the galloper out to continue his impressive race record.

The five-year-old as not finished outside the placings in any of his seven race starts, with his most recent result being a third placing in the $47,500 Auto Classic Motorcycles Handicap.

It will be Iseethingsyoudon’t’s first attempt at Group racing when he runs in the 2012 RJ Peters Stakes this Saturday.

The Star Cross gelding has drawn barrier eight for the 2012 RJ Peters Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Shaun McGruddy in the race.

Iseethingsyoudon’t will go into the race with four race wins to his name and more than $75,000 in prize money.
