2012 Emirates Stakes – Final Field & Barrier Draw

The final field and barrier draw has been released for the 2012 Emirates Stakes, which is due to run at Flemington Racecourse this Saturday November 10, 2012.

Included in the 2012 Emirates Stakes is Star Of Giselle, who has won her last three race starts this preparation.

Star Of Giselle has won seven of her 18 race starts and has earned more than $390,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.

The Reset mare has drawn barrier 18 for the 2012 Emirates Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Craig Newitt.

Also included in the 2012 Emirates Stakes final field and barrier draw is Fat Al.

Fat Al has drawn barrier five for the 2012 Emirates Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Tommy Berry.

Berry is confident that Fat Al can win the $1 million Emirates Stakes after his Epsom Handicap victory last start.

“I’m really looking forward to the race and it’s great to get the opportunity to ride Fat Al again after winning the Epsom on him last start.

“I worked him this morning and his work was outstanding.

Fat Al

Fat Al is included in the 2012 Emirates Stakes final field.

“He would have to be pretty hard to beat off his last win, even though he’s going up a lot in weight.”

Fat Al has won six of his 10 race starts and has earned more than $580,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.
