Howmuchdoyouloveme Clear 2012 Yellowglen Stakes Betting Favourite

The hype machine has gone into overdrive since Howmuchdoyouloveme produced a stunning jump-out performance at Flemington on Tuesday and the Sydney sprinter is now an even-money favourite for the Group 2 2012 Yellowglen Stakes (1200m) this Saturday.

Howmuchdoyouloveme

Howmuchdoyouloveme is a short-priced favourite to win the Yellowglen Stakes on Saturday

The exciting four-year-old will be out to back up his first-up win in the Caulfield Sprint where he led from start to finish to take top honours by two lengths.

He is being offered at $2.00 at bookmaker.com.au to take his record to six wins from seven starts this weekend and the jump-out on left trainer Con Karakatsanis confident.

“He did put a smile on my face he and went a bit better than I thought he would and did everything right,” Karakatsanis said.

No horse comes close to the Written Tycoon gelding in the market, with Pampelonne the next best at $8.00.

The four-year-old has an outstanding record of five wins from nine starts and won the Group 2 Shorts in Sydney first-up before finishing fourth to Buffering in the Schillaci Stakes.

David Vandyke-trained mare Miss Marx occupies the third line of betting at $8.50 after a consistent spring so far where she has finished in the top three in all four starts.

Those looking for value can find plenty of quality at double figures with Queensland gelding Spirit Of Boom and Sydney’s Tiger Tees both at $10.00 and Peter Moody’s Golden Archer rated a $14.00 chance.

Spirit Of Boom has finished in the top four in three spring starts to date while Tiger Tees won the Concorde Stakes first-up before running fourth in the Moir Stakes.

Golden Archer has been a consistent performer all spring and is coming off a runner-up effort behind Buffering in the Schillaci Stakes.

Other horses in the Yellowglen Stakes betting market include Caulfield Sprint placegetter Latin News ($21.00) and Rolling Pin ($31.00) who won the Cameron Handicap at Newmarket.
