Kabayan Seeks Revenge In Carbine Club Stakes 2012 – Nominations

A total of 18 horses have nominated for the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes, which is scheduled to run at Flemington Racecourse this Saturday November 3, 2012.

Kabayanis one of the three-year-olds included in the 2012 Carbine Club Stakes nominations.

Kabayan is one of 18 horses nominated for the 2012 Carbine Club Stakes at Flemington Racecourse this Saturday.

The Haradasun gelding failed to win the Group 3 Norman Robinson Stakes at Caulfield Racecourse last start, despite being the odds-on favourite.

Prior to that, Kabayan won the Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes at Rosehill Racecourse on September 29, 2012.

Kabayan has won two of his seven race starts and has earned more than $325,000 in prize money during his short horse racing career.

Once pegged as the top chance to take out the $1 million Golden Rose by trainer Gai Waterhouse, the young galloper has produced mixed results this spring racing carnival.

Also included in the 2012 Carbine Club Stakes nominations is Pronto Pronto.

Pronto Pronto has won two of his eight race starts and has earned more than $155,000 in prize money.

The Snitzel colt won the Listed Yellowglen Vintage Stakes earlier this preparation, before placing fifth in the Listed Gothic Stakes last start.

Pronto Pronto will be looking to claim his first Group victory in the Carbine Club Stakes this Saturday.

Proverb, Tatra and Lunar Rise are also part of the 2012 Carbine Club Stakes nominations.
