- 1st – #11 Sugar Rush ($1.65)
- 2nd – #1 Brilliant Bisc ($17)
- 3rd – #10 Shahad ($6)
Big money coming in early for Gai Waterhouse’s Sugar Rush, they are a Randwick and Warwick Farm trial winner and the hype should be justified here. Brillian Bisc adds value set to improve after being beaten be rival Guelph in a trial leading up to this, they get the draw here, while the other Waterhouse runner Shahad should get a nice run from four.

- 1st – #12 War ($3)

War enjoyed a good trial win at Warwick Farm and should give Gai another early win here from their nice gate two draw with Rawiller in the saddle. Money also coming in for Whittington but for second we like the look of Schofield’s mount Reginmental Pride in gate four who also won a trial in nice style leading up to this debut.
