Reginald Allen Quality 2012 Results – Urban Groove Wins

Urban Groove has won the 2012 Reginald Allen Quality at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse today.

The three-year-old has now won both her career starts, with her first win coming in a $22,000 Kembla Grange maiden.

Now a Listed winner, Urban Groove demonstrated her class to win the 2012 Reginald Allen Quality and claim the $60,000 prize money.

The Charge Forward filly won the race ahead of Brave Soul, who finished second, and Roll The Bones, who finished in third.

Urban Groove was the $2.25 favourite to win the 2012 Reginald Allen Quality at

Trainer Gai Waterhouse was elated with the win, which rounded off her victories in the Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes with Kabayan and the Group 3 Golden Pendant with More Joyous.

“She broke her pelvis as a two year old,” Waterhouse said of Urban Groove.

“We thought she was going to be a Magic Millions horse.

“These fillies only have a window in their life to kick goals and she’s done just that today.”

Jockey Tommy Berry steered Urban Groove to today’s 2012 Reginald Allen Quality win.

“She doesn’t look like she’s been around, she hasn’t raised a sweat,” Berry said.

“She’s got to be pretty special.”

Waterhouse hinted that the filly will likely now go down to Melbourne to run in some of the top feature races. are offering a $400 bonus bet to new customers who sign up today and enter the promo code BONUSBET. is your one stop shop for all your betting needs this spring, so ensure you make the most of their premium betting experience.
