All Too Hard Features In 2012 George Main Stakes Nominations

Nominations have been released for the Group 1 George Main Stakes, which is set to run at Royal Randwick Racecourse this Saturday September 22, 2012.

Just 11 horses have nominated for a spot in the $350,000 race, including All Too Hard.

All Too Hard will be looking to finally claim a Group 1 title in the race after failing at his previous attempt.

All Too Hard

All Too Hard is nominated for the 2012 George Main Stakes at Royal Randwick Racecourse this weekend.

His only other run in a Group 1 ended up in a defeat behind champion two-year-old of the year, Pierro, in the Inglis Sires’ Produce Stakes at Royal Randwick during the autumn.

All Too Hard has won three of his six race starts and has earned more than $430,000 in prize money.

Trainer Chris Waller will attempt to rain of All Too Hard’s parade in the 2012 George Main Stakes with his four talented runners.

Waller has nominated Shoot Out, Danleigh, Class Is Class and Rangirangdoo for the race and expects each to run well in the event.

“Shoot Out is very well and I was more than happy with his work on Saturday morning,” Waller said.

“He is as fit as I can get him for a mile first-up.

“Class Is Class is also a possible runner.”

Danleigh proved his age is no factor by winning the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes at Warwick Farm Racecourse 0n September 8.

The nine-year-old has won 10 of his 55 race starts and has earned more than $2.44 million in prize money during his impressive racing career.

Quintessential and Yosei are also included in the 2012 George Main Stakes nominations.
