#9 Snitzerland $1.70
This Gerald Ryan-trained filly is at a short price but it’s for good reason and she looks the standout here. It’s rare that a horse with a handicap rating 18 points more than her nearest rival gets beaten and she should be far too good on Saturday.
Picked up where she left off her two-year-old career to win the San Domenico Stakes ahead of Driefontein and All Too Hard two weeks ago and there is no reason why she can’t continue that against an easier field here.
Has form down the Flemington straight from earlier this year where she won by three lengths in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes.
After a slow start to his career, Rusambo looks to have finally learnt what it’s all about and is chasing a third consecutive victory this weekend.
Finished off strongly to win the Listed McKenzie Stakes last week so look for him to provide a good challenge to the favourite here.
Psychic Mick is unbeaten from four starts and it is hard to write off a winner. Was dominant when beating the Listed Vain Stakes on August 18 but faces a tougher field this time out.
