Tattersall’s Cup 2012 Betting Update – Shezahotshot Shortens

Kim Craft’s Sunshine Coast galloper Shezahotshot is the biggest market mover for Saturday’s 2012 Tattersall’s Cup at Eagle Farm but still represents great value at double figures.

Kinnersley

Kinnersley is easing in their 2012 Tattersall's Cup price for Saturday

Running as Eagle Farm Race 6 at 3:12pm the $200,000 Group 3 Carlton Draught Tattersall’s Cup (2200m) is shaping up as a crack showdown by some of the winter’s best stayers.

Tattersall’s Cup odds at bookmaker.com.au are led by easing favourite Kinnersley, the Gai Waterhouse-trained five-year-old having come out from $3.20 to $3.90 over the past 24 hours.

The notable early Tattersall’s Cup betting market mover meanwhile is Shezahotshot.

After opening at $31 they have come right into $21, punters getting behind the Intergaze mare.

A Doomben winner over the mile two back Shezahotshot was last seen running second to Ausworld over 2000m at Doomben in the wet on June 11 carrying 55.5kg.

They drop back to 54kg on Saturday and while they are still an outsider, certainly have claims for an upset.

Along with Shezahotshot the other notable market mover is the Chris Waller-trained Wazn into $5.50 from $6.

Drawn in barrier eight the Whipper stallion comes off a credible fourth to Lights Of Heaven in the Group 2 Brisbane Cup (2400m) and will appreciate the drop back in class here.

Meanwhile punters could be well advised to take the easing price on Kinnersley to win tomorrow’s clash with jockey Chris Munce confident at this track the beaten Ipswich Cup favourite can atone, even only seven days later.

“Chris Munce thought Kinnersley would be better suited on a bigger track,” stable work rider Mark Newnham said this week.

“He said he’d love to ride him again, his exact words were ‘leave him up here and I’ll win on him.’”

If he does win on him make sure you are on them at bookmaker.com.au.
