Ipswich Cup Day 2012 – Race Scratchings

Wet weather has delivered some tricky racing conditions for much of the Queensland Racing Carnival but the sun is shining today for 2012 Ipswich Cup Day.

The track is currently rated as dead (5) which means there have been limited scratchings across the day’s exciting eight-race program.

Kicking off at 12:10pm, Ipswich delivers an action-packed card that is highlighted by the Listed $200,000 2012 Ipswich Cup (2150m).

Headlining the Ipswich Cup field is regular Group level runner Ginga Dude and Gai Waterhouse-trained last-start winner Kinnersley.

Other highlight races at Ipswich today include the Listed $175,000 Eye Liner Stakes and the $100,000 Gai Waterhouse Classic.
