Torio’s Quest Headlines 2012 QTC Cup Nominations At Eagle Farm

Nominations have been released for the Group 2 QTC Cup at Eagle Farm racecourse this Saturday June 2, 2012.

28 horses have been nominated for the 2012 QTC Cup, including Torio’s Quest.

Torio’s Quest will be second-up in the 2012 QTC Cup after finishing second to Riva De Lago in the $120,000 Horsepower Handicap at Scone on May 18, 2012.

The four-year-old gelding has won five of his 14 race starts and has earned more than $880,000 in prize money.

The Oratorio gelding will be out to win his second Group 2 race, after winning the Group 2 Queensland Guineas on June 11, 2011.

The Secret Savings gelding has won eight of his 22 race starts and has won more than $500,000 in prize money.

The six-year-old will be looking to improve on his last start 12th in the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 when he lines up for this Saturday’s 2012 QTC Cup.

Thankgodyou’rehere will be third-up in the 2012 QTC Cup after placing fifth in the Group 1 The Galaxy behind Temple Of Boom first-up.
