Sizzling Stars In 2012 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes Nominations

The Group 2 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes is set to run at Eagle Farm racecourse this Saturday June 2, 2012, and here you will find the latest nominations for the race.

Amongst the 2012 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes nominations is Sizzling, who is looking to extend his winning streak to three unbeaten runs this preparation.

Sizzling and Chris Munce

Sizzling is nominated to make it three in a row with a 2012 BRC Sires' Produce Stakes win this weekend in Brisbane.

Sizzling has won three of his six race starts and has earned more than $310,000 in prize money during his short, but impressive, horse racing career.

The Snitzel colt won his first-up start in the Listed Ken Russell Memorial Classic at the Gold Coast on May 5, 2012, before winning the Group 2 Champagne Classic at Doomben on May 19, 2012.

Discreet is also included in the 2012 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes nominations.

The two-year-old filly has won one of her six race starts and has earned more than $105,000 in prize money.

The Show A Heart filly finished second in the $150,000 CFMEU Mining & Energy Plate at Ipswich  first-up this campaign before placing fifth behind Sizzling in the Champagne Classic last start.

Discreet is trained at Eagle Farm by Kelly Schweida and was purchased from the 2011 Magic Millions Yearling Sale for just $50,000.

Academus and Noogoora Burr are also included in the 2012 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes nominations.
