Glenlogan Park Stakes 2012 – Wealth Princess Heads Betting

Former Glenlogan Park Stakes winner Wealth Princess is a short-priced favourite to add a second title to her resume in Saturday’s Group 3 2012 Glenlogan Park Stakes (1350m) at Doomben.

The Darren Weir-trained mare has had just one start since her impressive 2010 Brisbane carnival which came earlier this month when finishing second in the Wangoom Handicap at Warrnambool.

Currently paying $2.80 at bookmaker.com.au, the New Zeland-bred six-year-old has an impressive resume of six wins from just 12 career starts.

Next back in the betting is talented filly Bound To Blush ($6.50) who will be ridden by Glyn Schofield for the first time with regular jockey James McDonald on duty in Scone.

The lightly-raced youngster has had only six career starts but has already recorded three victories and placed on two other occasions.

In-form Michael Lakey-trained mare Risk Aversion follows just behind her in the betting market and is being offered at $7.00 on the back of some excellent form.

A winner of five of eight starts, the Encosta De Lago four-year-old placed twice earlier this year before winning her last start in the Listed Juanmo Stakes at Eagle Farm on April 21.

Risk Aversion has drawn well in barrier seven as has Alltherightmoves (2) who gets a chance to bounce back from a career worst tenth-place finish last start in the Silk Stocking.

The Gold Coast-based mare is paying $8.00 to add another victory to her resume which currently stands at six wins from 11 career outings.

No other horse is paying a single figure price but Forfeiture ($10.00) is the next best and has produced solid form throughout her entire career.

The daugther of Commands has won four times from eight starts and was most recently see running fourth to More Strawberries in the Rowley Mile.

Other horses set to line up in Saturday’s Glenlogan Park Stakes include two-time Group level winner Parables ($12.00) and Robert Heathcote-trained Funtantes ($16.00).

Betting is now open on all themajor Doomben races this weekend so head to bookmaker.com.au to back a winner.
