Hawkesbury Saturday Scratchings – 5/5/12

Despite the Sydney Autumn Carnival wrapping up last weekend, there is still quality racing in New South Wales today with Hawkesbury hosting an eight-race meeting that includes plenty of classy horses.

Headlining the card is the 2012 Hawkesbury Guineas that will see up-and-coming Gai Waterhouse-trained gelding Landing attempt to extend his unbeaten streak to five races.

Other highlights include The 2012 Darley Crown that features Galaxy third place-getter Ladys Angel and the Rowley Mile which will see Gai Waterhouse pair Fast Clip and Western Symbol go head to head.

The feature races have been mostly unaffected by scratchings and with the track currently rated a dead 4 we are in for a quality day of galloping action.
