Inglis Sires Produce Stakes 2012 Tips & Betting Update

It may seem like Saturday’s 2012 Inglis Sires Produce Stakes quinella is an easy one to tip with only two real chances but what order to bet in is the question on every punter’s lips ahead of the Australian Derby Day classic at Royal Randwick.

Pierro

Pierro is the Races.com.au tip to win the 2012 Inglis Sires Produce Stakes

Which of the two unbeaten colts will remain so come Sunday morning?

Will it be the Hawkes-trained odds-on favourite All Too Hard who has been in the spotlight since their debut in February because of their breeding being a half-brother to the superlative Black Caviar?

Or can Gai Waterhouse’s Golden Slipper winner Pierro back up just seven days after saluting in the world’s richest juvenile’s race, which All Too Hard bypassed especially for the Sires Produce, and add a second Group 1 title to their name?

See below for which of the two young champs the Races.com.au have specially rated to win the $500,000 Group 1 ATC Inglis Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) on Saturday, and which other hopeful to add into your exotic selections at bookmaker.com.au.

Randwick Race 5 Betting – 2012 Inglis Sires Produce Stakes Trifecta Tip

#1 Pierro from #2 All Too Hard and #3 Raceway

Yep we are going out on a limb and tipping an upset Inglis Sires Produce Stakes result with Pierro to get the better of the blueblood All Too Hard.

They may not have seen the distance (1400m), while All Too Hard put four lengths on a VRC Inglis Sires Produce field to win at Flemington two back, and they may be on the short back-up after a triumphant Slipper success but we still like Pierro for this.

Waterhouse is no dill and she wouldn’t back up such a valuable young asset if she didn’t rate him.

Rawiller is on fire, the barrier suits to a tee, the smaller field will be easier pickings than the double-digits in the Slipper and has winning form at Randwick.

Would we be surprised if All Too Hard won? Hardly. They will be right in the finish but they missed the Slipper and we don’t think Tinkler was banking on having the winner in this, plus the price is too short for our liking.

Waterhouse’s other runner Raceway is a progressive More Than Ready juvenile and their fifth in the Slipper was a good one. Will appreciate the extra distance and should trail their stablemate nicely through this.

Like our Inglis Sires Produce Stakes trifecta tip and want to lock it in before jump time? Or think All Too Hard will salute for the favourite backers and put Golden Slipper winner Pierro in his place?
