Australian Guineas Day 2012 – Flemington Race Scratchings

Australian Guineas Day is due to begin shortly at Flemington racecourse today March 3, 2012, with Race 1 scheduled to jump at 12.40pm (AEDT).

There have been no scratchings in the feature race of the day; the Group 1 Australian Guineas, with only the four emergencies been withdrawn from the race after failing to gain a start.

Helmet

All 16 horses will run in the 2012 Australian Guineas at Flemington today, including Helmet (pictured).

Flemington Racecourse is currently rated as a Dead 4, and with only light rain predicted to fall on the track throughout the day, the track is expected to be only slightly rain affected.

The Group 3 PFD Food Services Stakes will take place as the last race of the day at 5.20pm (AEDT) and has experienced two scratchings.

Both God Help Her and Sheila’s Star have been removed from the 2012 PFD Food Services Stakes field.
