There has been little movement in the markets for tomorrow’s 2012 PDF Food Services Stakes, with the top three horses still jostling for favouritism.

I’m Discreet remains a slight favourite to take out the 1400 metre event at Flemington. Luxbet are offering odds of $5.00 for the mare to win the race more commonly known as the Frances Tressady Stakes.

The five-year-old has not won since May last year but is fresh off a second-place-finish in the Mannerism Stakes. With seven wins from 26 starts, she should have enough quality to be amongst the front runners.

One issue of concern for the Russell Cameron trained horse is the barrier draw as she will run from the outside in the $150,000 Group 3 event.

The Races.com.au pick of the race is equal second favourite Golden Penny ($5.50). She is coming off three straight victories and is an excellent chance of turning that in to four this Saturday.

The Richard Jolly trained mare has drawn a good barrier in number four and will be ridden by world class jockey Damien Oliver.

She is joined at $5.50 in the Luxbet market by Booklet who will be having her first run since October last year.

For those chasing a bit of value, Marveen is one to watch at $8.50. The six-year-old mare has won six of 24 starts on her way to collecting over $570,00 in prize money.

In her first race back following a spell, the Darren Weir trained six-year-old finished third in the Bayside Jeep Hareeba Stakes in Morningside on February 15.

Biancon Rose ($7.50) has won twice over the PFD Food Services 1400 metre distance but it has been a while between spoils with the mare’s last victory coming in August last year.

Also included in the 2012 PFD Food Services Stakes are Rasberries ($11.00), Fashion ($13.00), And Rock ($15.00), Rahveel ($15.00) and Sheilas Star ($17.00).

For those that like to chase the long odds, God Help Her is the outsider at $31.00.
