Mannerism Stakes 2012 Race Results – Hi Belle Wins

Hi Belle

Hi Belle has taken out the last at Caulfield today, the Mannerism Stakes

Hi Belle has won the Group 3 Mannerism Stakes at Caulfield Racecourse today February 25, 2012.

The More Than Ready mare won the race in front of I’m Discreet, who finished second, and Slow The Flow, who ran home for third.

Hi Belle has now won eight of her 23 race starts and earned more than $330,000 in prize money.

Pakenham trainer John Gunning was always confident that the Clangalang mare would salute in today’s 2012 Mannerism Stakes.

“I’m over the moon with her, I came here that confident with her today,” Gunning said.

“As I said after last preparation she started to know she was a good horse.

“It’s very pleasing.”

Gunning hasn’t made a definite decision about where next to send Hi Belle this autumn.

“I don’t want to really bottom her out this time,” he said.

Jockey Craig Williams had the winning ride aboard Hi Belle in today’s Mannerism Stakes.

“She was very solid today,” Williams said.

Hi Belle paid odds of $4.60 to win the 2012 Mannerism Stakes at Luxbet.
