Rosehill Race Tips – Apollo Stakes 2012

Rain Affair leads the racing tips for the 2012 Apollo Stakes at Rosehill Racecourse tomorrow February 25, 2012.

It is hard to see Rain Affair being beaten in the race after his impressive performance in the Group 2 Expressway Stakes last start.

Trainer Joe Pride is confident Rain Affair will continue his spectacular winning streak in the 2012 Apollo Stakes.

“He hasn’t been a difficult horse to place because he has been able to race his way through the classes without too much trouble,” Pride said.

“But there is nowhere to hide now – he’s in the big league.”

Owner Don Storey said Rain Affair is only getting better as he gets older.

“Rain Affair’s no oil painting but he’s developing and maturing all the time and Joe thinks he will be even better next preparation,” Storey said.

“He’s a very exciting horse, great to watch. There is nothing like a front-runner who just keeps going.”

Rain Affair has won nine of his ten race starts and earned almost $450,000 in prize money.

For second we are tipping Shoot Out, while we believed Sacred Choice will round out the placings in the 2012 Apollo Stakes.
