Steps In Time Emerges 2012 Breeders Classic Winner – Warwick Farm Results

Steps In Time has won the 2012 Breeders Classic at Warwick Farm Racecourse today February 18, 2012.

Steps In Time

Steps In Time wins 2012 Breeders Classic at Warwick Farm.

The talented mare won the race in convincing fashion ahead of race favourite Beaded and Red Tracer.

The Danehill Dancer four-year-old has now won four of her seven race starts and earned more than $250,000 in prize money.

John O’Shea’s stable representative, Bryce Heys, felt Steps In Time’s produced a strong win.

“This mare, she thoroughly deserves this result,” Heys said.

“She’s just a beautiful mare.

“Just the benefit of having the run too.

“I was just saying to the boys how much she’s come on from that run and it reflects here today.

“Very pleasing”

Jockey Jimmy Cassidy rode Steps In Time to her Breeders Classic win.

“I wanted to be positive and dictate and when I wanted to get rolling I was able to do it,” Cassidy said.

“She was a lot more relaxed today so it indicated she came through her last run very good.

“(O’Shea) thought she had the quality to take the next step and once again he was right.”
