Shopaholic has produced a massive upset to win the 2012 The Vanityat Flemington Racecourse today.

The three-year-old filly looked gone half way down the straight, however, dug deep and won the race in a photo finish ahead.
Shopaholic paid odds of $14 at Luxbet to win the race ahead of raging hot favourite Mosheen, who finished second, and third place-getter Angel Of Mercy.
Trainer Danny O’Brien admitted he wasn’t surprised Shopaholic won today’s 2012 The Vanity.
“She’s a very nice filly and improving,” O’Brien said.
“Mosheen was obviously the testing material.
“She did a very good job.
“I knew the filly was in great order, she’d had a nice win first-up and had come on super.”
The Pins filly won her last start in the Derrinstown Stud-Ireland Plate for fillies at Caulfield on February 4.
O’Brien will now send Driefontein to the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes at Caulfield next weekend, before lining her up in the Group 2 Surround Stakes on March 10, 2012.
“She’s possibly going to back up next Saturday in the Angus Armanasco and then the Surround is on here two weeks later,” he said.
Dwayne Dunn rode Shopaholic to her surprise Group 3 The Vanity win.
“I had a very good opinion of her when she came back over from New Zealand,” said Dunn, who also won the last race aboard Raceway.
“To her credit she dug deep.”
