Nominations have been released for the 2012 Listed Nudgee Quality, which will take place at Eagle Farm Racecourse this Saturday January 27, 2012.

The 2012 Nudgee Quality, which is also known as the Nudgee Fillies and Mares Handicap, is worth $100,000 in prize money and is run over a distance of 1,200 metres.

Paprika is one of 18 horses nominated for the 2012 Nudgee Quality in Brisbane this weekend.

The five-year-old mare finished fourth in her most recent race start behind Schiffer at the Gold Coast in the $200,000 Magic Millions Sprint.

Paprika won last year’s Bat Out Of Hell Handicap and has since come back to racing after having 12 months off.

The General Nediym mare has won six of her 15 career runs and earned more than $660,000 in prize money.

Jasminka is also nominated for a run in the 2012 Nudgee Quality.

The six-year-old mare will be having her first start for the year in this Saturday’s 2012 Nudgee Quality.

Jasminka went has had more than a month’s break since finishing fifth in the Sky Racing Plus Handicap at Doomben last start.

The Sakura Seeking mare has won six of her 17 race starts and has earned more than $175,000 in prize money.

Falvelina, Crystal Doll and Bianca Jewel are also included in the 2012 Nudgee Quality nominations.
