God Has Spoken the 2011 C B Cox Stakes winner

We are not too sure what more races.com.au can do for a punter after pointing out the virtues of God Has Spoken in Saturday’s 2011 C B Cox Stakes (2100m) at Ascot.

Those who took the hint hopefully picked up the $21 Luxbet generously offered.

Trainer Neville Parnham worked the same wonders on God Has Spoken as he did with younger brother Playing God in the Group 1 Kingston Town Stakes a fortnight ago.

Beach work and a myriad of gear changes turned God Has Spoken from an also ran into the Group 2 2011 C B Cox Stakes winner.

Jockey Steven Parnham, son of Neville, had the son of BlackfriarsDolly Will Do settled fifth in a quickly run race.

Mega Steel Luxbet $51 led Battle Emblem Luxbet $15 in the early and middle stages of the 2011 C B Cox Stakes.

Those two stole a four length break on the field at the half way mark with Luxbet $1.80 favourite Ranger back near the tail.

Ranger was giving Mega Steel 12 lengths at the 1000m mark and clearly had its work cut out to become the 2011 C B Cox Stakes winner.

Victorian based jockey Dwayne Dunn aboard Kincaple Luxbet $6 followed God Has Spoken every step.

When Parnham made a move rounding the turn, Dunn tried to tack on but the rejuvenated God Has Spoken dashed clear half way up the straight.

It opened a three length break at the 200m and held on to beat Kincaple in the 2011 C B Cox Stakes.

Ranger ran on well for third after being five lengths away from the winner at the 200m mark.

Tranquility Luxbet $9 was up in the top half dozen but failed to sprint when required.

Her effort was a good one for a race like the upcoming Perth Cup and Luxbet obviously agree and have her at $5.50.

Perth Cup (2400m) favourite is Kincaple with Luxbet at $4 and Ranger, a distance doubt, is $7 with  Luxbet.

Anyone who took up Luxbet‘s great offer and placed some of the dosh on God Has Spoken will be smiling. Luxbet double any initial deposit ranging from $25 to $400. Follow the Luxbet prompts and you must enter the code BONUSBET. It takes just a few minutes to join on-line and perhaps if you missed out here, the Perth Cup on December 31 could be your race. Read about conditions and get a great start to the new year with Luxbet.
