2011 Travel Associates Classic winner Zero Rock

Came each new campaign nothing seems to change with Zero Rock.

Her experience trainer Kelso Wood places her wisely and she delivers.

They were at it again on Saturday when taking the Listed 2011 Travel Associates Classic (1200m) at Eagle Farm.

Having her first start since running sixth in the Group 1 Tatt’s Tiara at Eagle Farm in June, Zero Rock Luxbet $1.55 made it three wins in six first-up starts when beating Liesele Luxbet $5.50 with Mossriver Luxbet $7 third.

Those taking the short-odds about Zero Rock wouldn’t want the 2011 Travel Associates Classic over again.

And neither would Wood who recently underwent heart bypass surgery.

Jockey Chris Munce led and had control of the 2011 Travel Associates Classic as others stacked around him.

Coming to the turn, four horses shared the lead Zero Rock, Norocos Luxbet $21, Nuptse Luxbet $6.50 and Cariad Luxbet $21.

Cariad raced unruly and ran off the track.

Nupste had settled fourth, moved three wide but at 200m couldn’t quicken sufficiently.

Norocos settled outside of Zero Rock and kept pace with Nupste until the 150m and then faded badly.

It was left up to Liesele who settled third behind Zero Rock.

It came through along the fence and made a late dive but missed out.

Mossriver was blocked in the straight and ran on well while Dual Chamber Luxbet $18 flashed home from last to take fourth.

Zero Rock has won at every campaign since she started racing in mid-2008.

She has now won 11 races from 26 strarts and $894,050 and the 2011 Travel Associates Classic was her third Listed win.

The six-year-old also placed in the Group 1 Stradbroke Hcp and Magic Millions Cup this year.

Zero Rock will defend last year’s win in the Listed Lough Neagh Stakes (1350m) at Doomben on December 31.

The Magic Millions Cup (1400m) at the Gold Coast on January 14 will be her final target for the summer.

Those who have followed Zero Rock through her career have continually collected. And it may not be too late. Luxbet will give you a good starting bank. Any initial deposit from $25 to $400 will be matched by Luxbet. Enter the code BONUSBET and your money doubles. Read or ask about conditions and perhaps Zero Rock will be a winner for you.
