Expert Kingston Town Classic 2011 Tips & Exotic Picks

The 2011 Kingston Town Classic brings an end to Australian Group 1 racing for another year at Perth’s Ascot Racecourse on Saturday, the half-a-million-dollar classic presenting punters with an excellent summer betting opportunity.

To help our readers win big on the weekend, we have done the most comprehensive 2011 Kingston Town Classic Form Guide Analysis and using what we discovered about the field, devised our insider tips.

Jumping as Ascot Race 7 at 4:00pm (Perth time), the $500,000 Group 1 Kingston Town Classic (1800m) field of 14 may not boast the depth of some of the Sydney and Melbourne elite levels, but there are still plenty of genuine gallopers out for the win.

From a veteran 10-year-old in Hadabeclorka, right down to recent WA Guineas winning three-year-old King Saul, there are horses of all ages and experience levels ready to strut their stuff.

Below the team have our Kingston Town Classic tips, including the horse we have rated special to win and the other selections for you to add into your exotics at Luxbet for extra value!

2011 Kingston Town Classic Tips

1st: #8 Kincaple – $10 to Win at Luxbet

A nice price on Mark Reed’s Pentire six-year-old who should have lots of improvement in them following their 7th in the Railway Stakes. They didn’t have the draw and the mile isn’t their preferred so it is a run that can be overlooked. They are the hottest horse on the provincial Cups circuit right now with a Kalgoorlie Cup victory over 2300m in September, and a close Boulder Cup second over 1760m before that. Might lack a little bit of class against these and its true they haven’t been to a Group 1 before, but it looks their time to shine.

2nd: #14 King Saul – $5 to Win at Luxbet

Real historical and form bet. Playing God did the WA Guineas – Kingston Town double last year and King Saul looks a strong chance of going close again this season. Are right in it at 52kg and 3YO’s have a good record in this race. They also boast the second best Win Rate of the field with 75%.

3rd: #11 Luckygray – $3.10 to Win at Luxbet

Has their luck run out after their protest win in the Railway? They continue to answer their critics and exceed expectations, but just can’t take them at $3.10. It’s going to be a tight trifecta and Luckygray won’t be far off, just think they may have had enough and pedigree says the distance won’t suit. Still favourite backers won’t be shying away as they have the highest win rate of the field (77.58%), but that 14 of 14 draw makes this tough.

4th: #10 Playing God – $16 to Win at Luxbet

Did it last year but they came off better form and had the ideal lead-up. This season has been a really testing one. Have the right draw in five and plenty of record-based stats to say they can including their two from three over the distance and five from 10 at the track. Might sneak into third?

Looking for a real roughie?

#5 Mega Steel $101 at Luxbet is worth sneaky Place bet just in case! In last year’s winning barrier (eight), the right age as a six-year-old and has twice run a place at the track and distance.

Back the’s Kingston Town Classic selections in at Luxbet now, and enjoy a $400 bonus bet if you are a first-time punter that deposits and quotes the promo code BONUSBET at Australia’s favourite bookie!
