The summer racing action in Brisbane steps up a notch at Eagle Farm on Saturday with an eight-race card headlined by two Listed features, full Eagle Farm race tips for the day listed below.

Eagle Farm racing is set to start at 12:25pm (local time) on Saturday with a field of promising two-year-olds, including two last-start winners, getting things underway in the $50,000 Hamilton Hotel QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap (1000m).

The first of the black-type races Luxbet punters will be hanging out for is not until Eagle Farm Race 6 at 3:45pm (local time), when Kelso Wood’s smart mare Zero Rock will look to go back-to-back in the $80,000 Listed Travel Associates Classic Fillies & Mares Plate (1200m).

Next on the Eagle Farm race card is then the $80,000 Listed Tattersall’s Recognition Stakes Handicap (1600m), a top mile clash between some of Brissy’s best gallopers including the Robert Heathcote-trained duo Fillydelphia and Humma who are out for their second straight quinella having run one-two in the Brisbane Handicap last start.

Fans will be entertained right through until the final event on the program jumps at 5:05pm (local time) with the $45,000 Carlton Draught Class 6 Handicap (1400m) finishing off the day, draw card contender Simmering withdrawn from the race due to a season-ending injury.
