Listen Son 2011 Keith Noud winner

Toowoomba gelding Listen Son improved his good Eagle Farm record by winning the Listed $100,000 2011 Keith Noud Quality (1200m) at Eagle Farm today.

The Luxbet $13 longshot led throughout, courtesy of a good ride by Scott Seamer and a change of tactics by the Trevor Bailey-trained Faster Son Luxbet $12.

Seamer was able to stack the field and give the advantage to the front runners in the 2011 Keith Noud Quality after the expected battle for the lead didn’t eventuate.

Faster Son, who more times than not, has led, was ridden back in the field.

It left Listen Son and Excellantes Luxbet $3.50 favourite, who had settled on his outside,  to fight out the finish.

While Excellantes headed Listen Son, the latter fought back to record his sixth Eagle Farm win, in a eight win career.

The best run of the race came from the Darryl Hanson-trained Essington Luxbet $7, who made up many lengths in the straight to gain third.

Luxbet $26 bolter Ollie Vollie who settled third on the fence finished fourth but had its chance.

The run of Poor Judge Luxbet $21 should be forgiven as he was caught three-wide without cover.

Tierqualo Luxbet $11 in from $15, also looked to have its chance while Belltone Luxbet $8 chance, kept his position in the straight and can be followed.

Promising galloper Ready To Rip Luxbet $7.50, ran on well pleasing trainer Andrew Williamson.

Most of today’s field will have a rematch again in the Group 3 George Moore Stakes at Eagle Farm in a fortnight.

With the Brisbane Summer Series on the way, it is a good time to get a nice Chrstmas bonus with Luxbet.
Australia’s leading on line bookie will match any initial deposit from $25 to $400, dollar for dollar.
That’s right, put $400 in a new account and it will be $800. Quote the code BONUSBET and read or ask about conditions. Have a Merry Christmas thanks to Luxbet.
