Local Strength In 2011 Railway Stakes Field

Avienus

Avienus is one of just three interstate horses in the Railway Stakes 2011 final field

The 2011 Railway Stakes final field has been confirmed with a full contingent of 16 horses in the running as well as two emergencies.

The Group 1 Railway Stakes has been a real talking point all spring with a large number of eastern based horses set to be flown across for the Ascot Summer Carnival.

In the end though the number of invaders in the Railway Stakes field is down on expectations with the locals making up the lion’s share of the participants.

That’s not to say the field isn’t strong though with Western Australian Racing rising to a new level in recent years.

The horse that arguably headlines this fact the best is Playing God and he will also headline the 2011 Railway stakes.

Playing God is no stranger to eastern based punters s he’s been a consistent feature over the past 12 months in the biggest carnivals.

His results have always been consistent as well, if you’d backed him to place in all his starts you’d well and truly be up on your money.

That said trainer Neville Parnham is now looking for victories and most importantly group 1 victories.

He’s primed to win the 2011 Railway stakes and with a form line that includes a start in the Cox Plate he’s going to be super hard to beat.

That said he’ll be joined by Avienus, one of the eastern raiders, and she too comes through the Cox Plate.

The other travelling horses in the field are He’s Remarkable for Kerrin McEvoy and Roger James, and Spacecraft for David Hayes.

In terms of the local horses Waratah’s Secret is equal with Playing God on a rating of 112 while Ranger, King Kool Kat and Lords Ransom have all earned a triple figure rating as well.

The 2011 Railway Stakes shapes as a real cracker of a contest and you simply have to get on board with Luxbet.

Register an account with them today and whether you want to back the locals or the travellers you’ll guarantee yourself the very best odds.

There can be such a difference in opinion between punters in Perth and those in Melbourne and that will be reflected in the odds at the different TAB’s.

That can mean you getting short changed, but not if you bet with Luxbet where you’ll always get a better deal.

Join Luxbet today and by using the promo code BONUSBET you’ll even score a free bet matching your initial deposit worth anywhere up to $400!
