2011 Emirates Stakes Day Tips – Full Program

It’s the final day of the 2011 Melbourne Cup Carnival with Emirates Stakes Day rounding off what has been a wonderful four days of racing at Flemington racecourse.

Black Caviar is back to steal the show on Emirates Stakes Day

The day starts with a 1000m sprint featuring two years olds, many of which are having just their first race start.

The card will progress through to showcase Black Caviar in the 2011 Patinack Farm Classic before the main event Emirates Stakes.

Race 1 – 11:30AM Hong Kong Jockey Club Maribyrnong Plate (1000 METRES)

1st – Rappers Delight $7.50 @ Luxbet

2nd – Magnusificent $4.60 @ Luxbet

3rd – Ptolemy $19 @ Luxbet

Rappers Delight as the experience on the board that’s just that little bit better than Magnusificent with Ptolemy a market mover at big odds.

Race 2 – 12:10PM Visit Victoria Handicap (1600 METRES)

1st – Eraset $4.80 @ Luxbet

2nd – He’s Remarkable $3.90 @ Luxbet

3rd – Happy Trails $8.00 @ Luxbet

All three of these are almost equal but Eraset looks to be building in front of He’s remarkable who has the draw from Happy Trails.

Race 3 – 12:50PM Antler Luggage Handicap (2000 METRES)

1st – Texan Warney $10 @ Luxbet

2nd – Count Encosta $8.00 @ Luxbet

3rd – The Black Oak $9.50 @ Luxbet

Texan Warney is as consistent as any ahead of Count Encosta who has class on his day with The Black Oak setting a lightning pace out front.

Race 4 – 1:30PM Hilton Hotels Stakes (1400 METRES)

2nd – Amah Rock $7.00 @ Luxbet

3rd – Mahisara $5.00 @ Luxbet

Mental is three from three this prep which trumps Amah Rock which ran third last start and Mahisara which was third first up.

Race 5 – 2:15PM Patinack Farm Classic (1200 METRES)

1st – Black Caviar $1.05 @ Luxbet

2nd – Scenic Blast $51 @ Luxbet

3rd – Buffering $51 @ Luxbet

No argument needed for the favourite with Scenic Blast to improve with fitness from a gallant Buffering.

Race 6 – 3:00PM Emirates Stakes (1600 METRES)

2nd – Testa My Patience $9.00 @ Luxbet

3rd – Red Tracer $15 @ Luxbet

Woorim has a sensational final 200m while Testa My Patience is in incredible form just ahead of the hugely consistent Red Tracer.

Avienus drops back from Cox Plate level and is well suited here from the well backed Skyerush and consistent Dance With Her.

2nd – Anudjawun $12 @ Luxbet

3rd – Spechenka $51 @ Luxbet

Bauer has the class and deserves to win while Anudjawun ran on well last start from Spechenka at good odds.

Race 9 – 5:10PM Emirates Airline Handicap (1400 METRES)

1st – Orbit Express $19 @ Luxbet

2nd – Amaethon $4.00 @ Luxbet

3rd – Stirling Grove $3.80 @ Luxbet

Orbit Express is over his odds at $19 while Amaethon and Stirling Grove are the picks of the field.
