Post-Scratching Betting Markets – 2011 Mackinnon Stakes

The betting markets have fluctuated for the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes which will run on today’s Victoria Derby Day following the withdrawal of two runners.

Wall Street was scratched from the Mackinnon Stakes 2011 after suffering from a mild colic attack, while Linton was withdrawn after failing to recover from throwing a shoe and standing on a nail last week.

Rekindled Interest still remains the race favourite at Luxbet, however, has actually lengthened in odds form $3.50 to $4.80.

The second favourite for the Mackinnon Stakes 2011 is Glass Harmonium, who has firmed in from odds of $8 to $6.50 at Luxbet following the two race scratchings.

Both Midas Touch and Foreteller presently sit at $7.50 on the third line of betting at Luxbet.

Foreteller has been the biggest market mover of the 2011 Mackinnon Stakes field, with his odds almost halving from $15 to $7.50 since betting opened earlier this week.
