Descarado is the Caulfield Stakes 2011 winner

Descarado has proven too good for today’s 2011 Caulfield Stakes field at Caulfield Racecourse.

The five-year-old gelding has won the Caulfield Stakes 2011 by three quarters of a length ahead of second place-getter Avienus and third place-getter Lights Of Heaven.

After the top three finishers past the post there was a blanket finish with Mighty High, Sincero and Playing God finishing in fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively.
