Black Caviar Horse Racing Odds – 2011 Schillaci Stakes Betting

Unsurprisingly Peter Moody’s superlative sprinter Black Caviar has been installed as the raging favourite in the Schillaci Stakes 2011 odds for this Saturday’s Caulfield Guineas Daysprint.

Black Caviar

TBlack Caviar is the unsurprising odds-on 2011 Schillaci Stakes betting favourite

The mighty mare is likely to steal the spotlight away from the three-year-olds facing off in Saturday’s headline event, the $1 million Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m), Black Caviar making her heralded race return in the $200,000 Group 2 Schillaci Stakes (1000m).

Australia’s reigning Horse of the Year will attempt to equal Phar Lap’s personal best of 14 straight race victories at 1:20pm (EDT) on Saturday with the Schillaci Stakes scheduled as Caulfield Race 4.

Drawn in barrier five of nine, Black Caviar is certain to dominate Schillaci Stakes betting and currently sits at the top of the markets at a quote of $1.06 through Luxbet.

Black Caviar’s odds-on Schillaci Stakes price may seem unbackable, but why wouldn’t punters want to have a punt on a sure thing, on the queen and say they had bet on the best, they had bet on Black Caviar.

While $1.06 is definitely tight, Black Caviar’s brilliance doesn’t allow for anything longer and the only way to look at it is as a six percent bonus for your Schillaci Stakes betting at Luxbet!

There are no other runners at single-figure odds in the Schillaci Stakes this year and seemingly no genuine challengers to knock the queen off her throne.

The only other Schillaci Stakes hopes under $20 in the betting are Neville Layt’s honest Canberra-based filly Karuta Queen ($12) and Black Caviar’s stablemate Kulgrinda ($18).

For value bets to place in your Schillaci Stakes 2011 exotics consider:

  • #4 Tasos ($101 Luxbet) – Comes off a last-start victory over 900m at Newcastle and has form over the Schillaci Stakes distance
  • #8 Platinum Skye ($81 Luxbet) – Boasts the third highest Win Rate of the field behind Black Caviar (100%) and Karuta Queen (55.56%) with 52.63%
  • #3 Eight Bills ($151 Luxbet) – The only other horse in the race along with defending winner Black Caviar to have won at the track and distance

So don’t miss out on the Schillaci Stakes action, head over to Luxbet now and open your new account with Australia’s favourite bookmaker quoting the codeword BONUSBET when you make your first deposit and also receive a $500 Bonus Bet to use on a race of your choice this spring racing carnival!
