The Epsom Handicap 2011 is due to run at 4pm (AEST) at Randwick Racecourse and we have put together the best last minute tips for the race.

For first we can’t go past the performances of Sincero, who has won both his two spring carnival starts and has remained unbeaten since his impressive Stradbroke Handicap win during the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival.

The Umatilla gelding has won both of his two previous attempts at this distance, as well as both of his previous runs at this track.

Randwick has now been upgraded to a dead-rated track and Sincero has won two of his four race starts in these conditions.

Jumping from barrier one and ridden by regular jockey Chris O’Brien, we believe Sincero will extend his winning streak to four in a row with a 2011 Epsom Handicap victory.

Form: 18 8-4-2

For second, we are tipping Thankgodyou’rehere, who won his last start in the Group 3 Bill Ritchie Handicap at Rosehill.

The Secret Savings gelding is having his fourth race of the spring carnival and should possess the fitness needed to place amongst the quality 2011 Epsom Handicap field.

Thankgodyou’re here has won his only other attempt at this distance and has always placed on a dead track.

The six-year-old is presently paying odds of $12 to win the Epsom Handicap 2011 at Luxbet.

#6 Pinker Pinker

Form: 14 5-1-2

For third, we have tipped Pinker Pinker, who has drawn barrier five and will be ridden by jockey Craig Williams in the race.

Pinker Pinker finished a close second in the Group 2 Stock Stakes at Moonee Valley last start behind Peter Moody’s King’s Rose, who was scratched from today’s race.

The four-year-old Reset mare also finished first second-up this preparation in the Group 2 Let’s Elope Stakes at Flemington on September 3, 2011.
