The talented duo are both from the Hong Kong stables of maestro trainer John Moore, their flight scheduled to land at Tullamarine just after lunchtime today, after which the horses will be sent to the Werribee Quarantine Facility.

Mighty High is the headline attraction out of the pair.

The Peintre Celebre five-year-old is preparing to embark on a spring Cups campaign having been nominated for both the $2.5 million Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) on October 15 and the showcase race on the Australian racing calendar each year – the $6.2 million Group 1 Melbourne Cup (3200m) at Flemington on Tuesday November 1.

Four-year-old Haafhd gelding Silver Grecian will be set on a very different crusade down under, the last-start Sha Tin Mile Trophy winner heading towards the $350,000 Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on September 24.

One of 25 international horses currently nominated for the Melbourne Cup 2011, Mighty High has started 14 times to date producing four wins and six minor placings.

Formerly raced in Europe and prepared by the famous Alain De Royer Dupre, the horseman currently training dual Cox Plate champion So You Think, Mighty High was transferred to Moore at the end of 2009.

Mighty High is a multiple Group 1 placegetter having run third in the Hong Kong Gold Cup (2000m) in February and third again in the Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin in May.

Most recently the improving stayer claimed a devastatingly close final-stride victory over the Gerald Mr Medici, ridden by last year’s Melbourne Cup winning jockey Gerald Mosse, in the Group 1 Chartered Champions & Chater Cup (2400m) at Sha Tin on May 29 with Australian jockey Darren Beadman aboard.
