2011 Golden Slipper Day Rosehill Scratchings & Field Updates

Rosehill Racecourse is host to the best autumn racing action today, Saturday April 2, with 2011 Golden Slipper Day featuring an elite nine-race programme due to get underway at 11:50am (AEDST) and below are the latest Rosehill race scratchings and field updates.

The premier event on this afternoon’s Rosehill race card is the $3.5 million Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m), the world’s richest two-year-olds race set to run at 4:05pm (AEDST).

Featuring a full field of 16 promising juveniles ready to fight it out on the turf to become the 2011 Golden Slipper winner, the only current withdrawal from the Slipper field is first emergency, #1 Do You Think.

Bart Cummings’ lightly-raced Starcraft colt Do You Think was the sole Golden Slipper reserve today and will instead lead the field for Rosehill Race 1 – the $125,000 Group 3 The Schweppervescence (1400m).
