The Chris Waller-trained Pressday is an early scratching from the 2011 Rosehill Guineas field.
Waller this morning notified Racing NSW Stewards that his three-year-old Domesday colt Pressday was being treated for an elevated temperature and as such he was withdrawing him from the $500,000 Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (2000m) taking place as the marquee event at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse this Saturday.
The 2011 Rosehill Guineas, scheduled to run as Rosehill Race 7 at 4:10pm (AEDST) on Saturday, now features 13 gallopers.
Pressday was drawn in barrier 10 for the Guineas, meaning that Retrieve (br.11), Domesky (br.12), Praecido (br.13) and Don’t Put It There (br.14) will all move in one gate.
Early favourite to become this year’s Rosehill Guineas winner is #2 Jimmy Choux, the ultra consistent Kiwi colt making their Australian race debut having won four straight back home including the Group 1 New Zealand Derby (2400m) last start.
