Murwillumbah trainer Matthew Dunn is looking...
The $600,000 Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) is the marquee event on the Rosehill Saturday Race Programme tomorrow and is due to jump as Race 7 at 4:10pm (AEDST).
Originally the 2011 Coolmore Classic final field featured 17 fillies and mares, but #5 Lady Lynette has been withdrawn leaving 16 runners in contention.
Prepared by David and Scott Brunton at Seven Mile Beach in Tasmania, six-year-old Ladoni mare Lady Lynette came up trumps with gate on in the Coolmore Classic barrier draw.
Her withdrawal means the remaining hopefuls will all move in one barrier tomorrow.
After winning back-to-back Listed showdowns in her home state during February, Lady Lynette most recently finished a game fifth beaten two lengths by Pinker Pinker in the Group 3 Schweppervescence Trophy (1600m) at Flemington on March 12.
When Coolmore Classic odds were released yesterday, Lady Lynette was rated a $31 chance to Win through Luxbet.
Aloha remains the $5 favourite to become the Coolmore Classic winner at Luxbet, the last-start winner of the Group 3 PFD Food Services Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on March 5 now set to jump from barrier nine.
