Dare To Dream – Beaded To Win 2011 Newmarket Handicap

Could Beaded win the 2011 Newmarket Handicap

The 2011 Newmarket Handicap is a done deal for the vast majority of punters with Black Caviar the almost unbackable favourite to claim the title with ease.

Of course people are still looking for some value in the race though so exotics and place betting are where we’re seeing a lot of the money now go, with great value given the big odds.

If you trawl the internet backstreets and racing forums you’ll find there’s one horse where the whispers are rapidly getting louder, the previously overlooked Beaded.

When markets opened the mare was seemingly lost in the pack with all the talk coming for the obvious and the likes of Hay List, Eagle Falls and Star Witness.

But the scratching of Hay List has forced people to take a second look and Beaded has moved a full five points into $21.

In fact she’s now become the equal second favourite in the race with Luxbet.

It’s not hard to justify her place credentials either given in her 17 race career just once has she finished outside the money.

The record includes nine wins as well giving her the best-of-the-rest percentage in overall victories.

The form is current too, last start she dominated a quality field by a length and a half at Caulfield including the likes of Varenna Miss.

Second up she’s proven as well and the distance is perfect, meaning we really can’t see any faults leading into the 2011 Newmarket Handicap.

She has even dropped six kilograms from that last start win down to a tiny 52kgs.

Now we’re not suggesting she’s in the same class as Black Caviar but a proven in-form horse with zero weight and nothing to lose is always dangerous.

She’s a must for your exotics and maybe, just maybe, this horse has a sniff at being the one to end the reign of the greatest sprinter on the planet.

It’s not often you can get more than $20 for a second favourite, so be brave and go against the grain!

Jump onto Luxbet now and claim a free bet worth $400 by registering a new account.

You’ve got nothing to lose either, but you could gain $8400 for being an optimistic legend!
