The opening race meeting this Friday will run at Victoria’s Bendigo track where the first of eight events, the $12,000 Max Ellis Signs Super VOBIS 2YO Maiden Plate (1000m), is due to jump at 1:00pm (AEDST).

Bendigo Race 6 is the headline event on the card when the $12,000 Cloverfields Agistment Farm 0 – 68 Handicap (1000m) takes place at 4:00pm (AEDST) and we have our money on #4 No Means Go to win.

  • Port Lincoln (SA) Race 1 jumps at 1:15pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

South Australia’s Port Lincoln Racecourse will run a bumper eight-event programme today starting at 1:15pm (AEDST) with the $10,000 Revolution Roofing / SABOIS F& M Rating 0 – 68 Handicap (1250m) where #3 Kooda Wonder coming off some great form is an excellent roughie pick paying double figure odds at Luxbet.

Highlights at Port Lincoln today include Race 4 the $20,000 Complete Business & Accounting Services Flying Handicap (1200m) at 3:01pm (AEDST) where #1 Covet The Lot on the rails looks the winner and Race 7 the $40,000 Carlton Draught Port Lincoln Cup (1950m) at 4:56pm (AEDST) where of the crack field we have our money on #2 Over The Road to win for trainer Simon Drewitt.

  • Taree (NSW)Race 1 jumps at 1:20pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

One of two TAB meets running in New South Wales today is the eight-race programme at Taree which is due to get underway at 1:20pm (AEDST) with the $10,000 Saxby’s Diet Ginger Beer Benchmark 70 Handicap (1600m) and for the win we are tipping #4 Gypsy Ruler.

Race 6 at Taree is shaping up as a beauty with the $10,000 Saxby’s Toffee Apple Class 1 Handicap (1000m) jumping at 4:21pm (AEDST) and of the field we fancy #4 Ruling Class.

  • Ipswich (QLD)Race 1 jumps at 2:02pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

Queensland’s sole Friday race meet will take place at Ipswich this afternoon where a seven-race card kicks off at 2:02pm (AEDST) with the $12,000 Kaysuelle Fashions Maiden Plate (2150m).

Final event on the Ipswich programme looks the best for punters when Race 7 the $10,000 Yalumba Class 1 Handicap (1100m) brings things to a close at 5:50pm (AEDST) and where we fancy the lightly-raced wildcard of the field, #3 Show Me An Ace.

  • Sapphire Coast (NSW)Race 1 jumps at 2:17pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

Racing continues in New South Wales with eight races running at the Sapphire Coast track starting with the $10,000 Merimbula Tourism F&M Maiden Handicap (1200m) at 2:17pm (AEDST).

Lots of quality races on the Sapphire Coast Card today including Race 7 the $15,000 Merimbula RSL Club Merimbula Cup (1600m) at 6:10pm (AEDST) where we are tipping #10 Michaels Gift to cause an upset over favourite Clever Hans.

Moonee Valley’s Friday Night Race programme is the feature meet today, the track coming to life at 6:45pm (AEDST) with the first of eight races, the $50,000 Mercedes-Benz Melbourne Handicap (1200m).

Headline race of the night is Moonee Valley Race 6 – the $200,000 Group 2 Fillies Classic (1600m) due to jump at 9:15pm (AEDST) and where #2 Always Discreet could be a nice roughie pick to back through Luxbet.
