2011 Surround Stakes Betting Update – Australian Guineas Day
The 2011 Surround Stakes is set to take place at Warwick Park this Saturday March 5, 2011, and the betting markets have begun to take shape.
The Group 2 Surround Stakes is a 1,400 metre race open to three-year-old fillies only.
More Strawberries is the hot favourite in betting for the 2011 Surround Stakes, currently paying $1.90
Gai Waterhouse’s More Strawberries will jump from barrier three in the 2011 Surround Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Nash Rawiller.
Second in the 2011 Surround Stakes betting order is Peter Snowden’s Parables.
Parables opened at Luxbet at $3.10, but has since drifted out to $3.50 following overwhelming support for More Strawberries.
