2011 Lord Reims Stakes Tips – Morphettville Saturday 5 March

Morphettville Racecourse is putting the final touches on the track, as we put our final touches on our 2011 Boag’s Lord Reims Stakes Tips for this Saturday, March 5th.

The Race 7 event guarantees excitement run over one of the longest distances on any card, the 2600m.

It’s a Group 3 rated event as well so be in no doubt as to the quality of horses competing in the 2011 Boag’s Lord Reims Stakes.

We brought you the form guide earlier in the week but now it’s time to jump off the fence and put our money where our mouth is, so here are our Lord Reims Stakes Tips.

Remember if you’re playing to put your money where your mouth is always do it through Luxbet.

2011 Lord Reims Stakes Tips

Unfortunately overnight #2 King Diamond was scratched from the field meaning we were thrown into a bit of mayhem this morning after losing a certain top three finisher.

We’ve managed to pull ourselves together though and here is your trifecta.

Winning the race we’re sorry to say will be the favourite, but on the plus side #6 Maunatrice is better than odds on at the moment.

In fact on the current Luxbet fixed price market if you move quickly you could still grab her for $2.70.

That’s not bad for a horse which has won four straight, carrying minimal weight and jumping from barrier three.

Guyno

Guyno (pictured) will be race favourite Maunatrice's biggest threat in the 2011 Lord Reims Stakes

The biggest threat will come from barrier 1 with horse number one, the Lou Luciani trained Guyno.

At seven-years-old he has plenty of experience but on recent form is showing no lack of pace either. Won the Mornington Cup last start after a Second in the Perth Cup.

Has had plenty of support and now sits at a $3.50 fixed price.

Our tip to come third but a solid chance of an upset is #3 Saddler’s Story.

Now we know this horse has incredibly only placed twice in a 49 race career but in this field he’s going to get out early and be at the front.

Probably won’t do enough to hold on for the win but at $8.00 on Luxbet he’s a chance and we’re confident he’ll at least get across for third.

Depending how your day has gone the Lord Reims Stakes really could be the one to double up your winnings or get yourself back to even.

It’s a good field but we think we’ve found the horses that stand out from the pack.

If you want odds that stand out from the pack register an account with Luxbet now.

That’s not all they offer, for new members have your initial deposit matched dollars for dollar.

You could have a $400 free bet on the Lord Reims Stakes, quite a good prospect for increasing the size of that stack!
