2011 Apollo Stakes Day – Rosehill Race Day Results

2011 Apollo Stakes Day has once again provided much entertainment for racing-enthusiasts, with all eight races being action-packed as expected.

The excitement began with Race 1 when Helmet won The Australian Brewery Handicap in Race 1.

The feature racing of the day began in Race 5 when the 2011 Parramatta Cup was won by top-weight Hawk Island.

The 2011 Apollo Stakes was the headline of Apollo Stakes Day and champion-in-the-making Melito proved to be too good for the rest of the field.

Melito was first-up this start from a spell and has once again demonstrated the extreme talent she possesses.

The Listed Triscay Stakes ran as Race 7 today and was won by Gai Waterhouse’s Kiss From A Rose.

Gai Waterhouse picked up the double in the race with her other entry, More Strawberries, handling the heavy weight and coming home for third.

Don’t worry if you missed out on backing a winner this Apollo Stakes Day.
