Murwillumbah trainer Matthew Dunn is looking...
With six wins and two placings from his eight career starts, Eclair Mystic has flourished under the expert guidance of trainer Robert Smerdon.
His last start win at Caulfield showed just how gutsy this horse his. After looking the winner into the home turn Eclair Mystic faced a huge push from Spirited Eagle and Linked In, but he managed to hold on in a close finish to see off his rivals and keep his Australian Guineas hopes alive.
With this record it’s exciting to think you can get more than $5 for Eclair Mystic on the fixed price markets at Luxbet. There is good reason for this though as he will be up against perhaps his sternest test yet in Under The Eiffel, a $2.20 favourite.
Both geldings have excellent form and you can make cases for either one, but it will come down to who can handle to dead track the best and how they are positioned in the race.
Unfortunately for Eclair Mystic he will be starting from wide out in barrier nine with Under The Eiffel gaining choice of the track in barrier one.
The good thing for Eclair Mystic is if he manages to pull off a win under these circumstance against this field he will almost certainly be propelled to top of the betting for the 2011 Australian Guineas.
To have a closer look at the form and try and pick a winner in the 2011 Durban Stakes join now at Luxbet. Still can’t split the two favourites? Luxbet offers a full range of betting so why not have the best of both worlds and box up a quinella!
