Secret Admirer Scratched from 2011 Light Fingers Stakes Field

The only Group 1 winner accepted for the $200,000 Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) at Randwick tomorrow, Secret Admirer has been scratched from the field.

Grahame Begg’s smart Dubawi filly Secret Admirer was set to resume racing for the season in the 2011 Light Fingers Stakes this Saturday.

Winner of the Group 1 Coolmore Flight Stakes (1600m) at Randwick last start on October 2, Secret Admirer was one of the top fancies in the Light Fingers odds at Luxbet.

Chris Waller’s last-start winning daughter of Dane Shadow Red Tracer remains the $3 favourite in the Light Fingers Stakes betting markets followed closely by the Gai Waterhouse-trained More Strawberries and $3.40.

A new first-up assignment for Secret Admirer is yet to be decided by connections.

Future autumn features the high-class filly could contest later in the season include the $2.25 million The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on April 2 or the $2 million Doncaster Mile (1600m) at Randwick on April 16.
