Punters around Australia are gearing up for the 2011 CF Orr Stakes at Caulfield tomorrow, the first Group 1 race of the season, but first there are six Friday race meetings running today to enjoy an autumn bet on.
Racing will take place in New South Wales, Queensland the ACT and Victoria today, February 11, with the highlight meet being the twilight race night at Moonee Valley this evening.

- Walcha (NSW) – Race 1 jumps 1:08pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet
Walcha in country New South Wales is set to host a top eight-event meet today with Race 1 – the $10,000 Sean Kelleher Memorial Benchmark 64 Handicap (1000m) kicking things off at 1:08pm (AEDST).
Race 7 – the $25,000 Elders 2011 Walcha Cup (1440m) at 4:50pm (AEDST) is the best race on the card here today and for the win we like the look of #4 Xaarmelody coming off back-to-back wins and drawn ideally in barrier three.
The final event on the card, Race 8 – the $20,000 Graziers Handicap Class 2 Handicap (1000m) at 5:30pm (AEDST) – is also worth checking the odds on and our tip to win is #10 Belle Laude who has performed consistently of late.

In Canberra a seven-race schedule is due to run today, things in the country’s capital getting underway at 1:53pm (AEDST) with the $14,000 The Tradies Maiden Handicap (1000m).
Good variety in the Canberra races today with everything from Class Handicaps to a Country Plate.
Race 7 – the $14,000 Custom Security Services Benchmark 60 Handicap (1400m) at 5:40pm (AEDST) is shaping up as a beauty and #10 Savvy Miss looks hard to beat.

Queensland’s Ipswich Racecourse will be home to a quality seven-race programme today, the first event being the $10,000 Terry Neale Memorial QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Handicap (1200m) at 2:00pm (AEDST).
The last two races on the Ipswich programme are the real highlights.

An excellent eight-race Moonee Valley Twilight meet will run under the lights in Melbourne tonight, things kicking off at 6:45pm (AEDST) with the $30,000 Fisher & Paykel Plate (1519m).

The final race meeting set to run this Friday is at the Sunshine Coast Cushion Track in Queensland and the first of six races, the $12,000 Chaps Menswear Class 3 Handicap (1600m), is due to jump at 7:30pm (AEDST).
In the opening race we are tipping #6 Taffy to claim victory after a nice last-start win.
