Montgomery wins Adapt Australia Handicap – Moonee Valley Race 3 Results

Montgomery has scored a classy win in Race 3 at Moonee Valley

Jockey Glen Boss produced a beautiful ride onboard Montgomery to win tonight’s Adapt Australia Handicap over 3000m at Moonee Valley.

A true staying test over 3000m, run over more than one full circuit of the Moonee Valley track, Get Ready Boy was the pace setter for the majority of the race until Equal Rights took the lead down the side of the track. Over the final home straight however five-year-old Montgomery comfortably drew clear to win the race by 2 lengths from a strong finishing Dave The Dude who managed to finish 1.8 lengths ahead of Equal Rights who claimed third.

Tonight’s win in Race 3 is just Montgomery’s third career win from a total of 20 starts.
