Miss Elvee wins Caulfied Race 1 on Australia Day.

3-year-old filly Miss Elvee has won the first race at the Australia Day races at Caulfield racecourse today.

Riden by Michelle Payne and trained by Robbie Griffiths, Miss Elvee jumped from barrier 2 and won the 1200m race by 1.3 lengths from Storm Burst with She’s Got Gears in third.

Sired by Elvstroem, Miss Elvee has now won her first race from 7 career starts, with 3 seconds and 1 third.
